Entry is possible directly at the accommodation. The snow sports school Gries also offers cross-country skiing courses for beginners and advanced skiers. Use the time for a winter hike. Combined with a toboggan ride, this is a beautiful winter experience. From Apart Gries you can, for example, hike to the Nisslalm or Sulztal Alm and after a well-deserved stop for a break, whiz back to Gries on the toboggan. Other tobogganing possibilities are on the Brandalm with start in Längenfeld or on the Wurzbergalm near Winklen. And in Sölden, the new "Stiegele" toboggan run is over 7 km long - including a fast ascent with the Gaislachkoglbahn. Off the beaten track and almost more idyllic, a snow shoe hike through the snowy forests in and around Gries.
